One of the home's 60 patients was reported missing that day.
After a search of the grounds, a woman was found in a walk-in freezer set at five degrees.
She was briefly hospitalized, but was said to be OK.
An official at the retirement home said the kitchen and freezer were supposed to be locked, but apparently were not on the night in question.
The /*Department of Social Services*/ is investigating.
