Brad Pitt's co. vies for Chilean miners movie

LOS ANGELES Plan B Entertainment, a company owned by actor Brad Pitt, is reportedly vying for the film rights to the story.

An attorney for the miners said Pitt's company made a multi-million dollar offer.

Several of the men may even be tapped for roles in the movie.

The miners were hoisted to freedom Oct. 13 after being trapped for 69 days.

Plan B has produced several Hollywood films including "Eat, Pray, Love" and "The Time traveler's Wife."
