Bobadilla is not considered at fault for the Saturday crash on Route 98 east of /*San Diego*/.
An unknown driver in a gold Honda Civic tried to pass a group of bikers and drove head-on toward Bobadilla, who swerved, over-corrected and collided into the group. Four riders were killed, and a female passenger in Bobadilla's car was also killed.
Investigators will check surveillance video at a border crossing to see if the driver went to Mexico.
The /*CHP*/ withheld the names of the five who died, pending notification of next of kin.
