Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt recently renewed their wedding vows after almost divorcing, in what marked their third marriage ceremony.
Montag, 24, and Pratt, 27, starred in the MTV reality show "The Hills," which ended earlier this year, and have often been said to stage publicity stunts.
The couple eloped in Mexico in November 2008 but their marriage was not recognized in the United States. They then wed in a traditional ceremony in Pasadena, California in front of family and friends on April 25, 2009, which was featured on the television series.
In July, Montag filed for divorce from Pratt, a Los Angeles socialite depicted as the villain on "The Hills". The two reconciled in late September following a trip to Costa Rica.
Montag and Pratt married for the third time on Sunday afternoon at a beachfront house in California, the "Entertainment Tonight" television program reported, quoting Pratt as saying: "it's just me and my bride on a little secret beach with nobody else and it's just about her. Versus last time it was about everything else, it was about drama, it was about ratings."
Montag said she now feels like "I can finally just be Heidi and just be in a marriage and just be a person. I'm just really enjoying every day."
Earlier this month, Life & Style magazine reported that Pratt and Montag were bankrupt, adding that they owe about $2 million in taxes. The two have not commented publicly.
