Julianne Hough, a former pro-dancer on 'Dancing With the Stars', says her boyfriend, "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, is "phenomenal" and adds that he has met her parents.
Hough, 22 and Seacrest, 35, have been linked together since at least the summer.
"Oh my gosh, he's phenomenal," Us Weekly magazine quoted Hough as saying on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in her most candid interview regarding her relationship with Seacrest. "He's really romantic. He's not even in town, and I got in my car and there are flowers everywhere."
Hough said Seacrest has already met her parents, adding: "Everyone's like, 'Oh, you met the folks!' Both of our folks are like our best friends so when we hang out, it's more like hanging out with friends.'"
Hough said in October that the two vacationed in Italy over the summer but denied reports the two were engaged.
Hough, the sister of "Dancing With the Stars" pro-dancer Derek Hough, has won the ABC ballroom dancing show twice and earned an Emmy nomination in 2007 for choreography. She left the show last year to concentrate on her acting career.
Hough recently make her big-screen acting debut "Burlesque," a flashy movie that stars Cher as well as singer Christina Aguilera, who plays a small-town girl who moves to Los Angeles and begins working in a club as a waitress, aiming to one day perform on stage.
She also plays April in a remake of the hit Kevin Bacon film "Footloose", which is set to be released on April 1, 2011 and features "Center Stage 2"'s Kenny Wormald in the lead role.
