1 killed in DUI rollover crash in Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Calif. Daniel Noreikas, 25, of Riverside was driving his 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck heading southbound on Olivewood Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle. The car crossed into opposing lanes, struck the curb and rolled over.

Noreikas' 28-year-old brother, Michael Noreikas, who was not wearing a seat belt, was injured in the crash and transported to Riverside Community Hospital where he later died.

Noreikas and two female adult passengers were unhurt.

Upon investigation, /*Riverside police*/ found that Noreikas was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Officers also found that he was in possession of a concealed handgun.

Noreikas was arrested and booked for gross vehicular manslaughter, felony drunken driving and carrying a concealed handgun. He was booked in the Robert Presley Detention Center and bail was set at $75,000.
