ARIZONA --An Arizona group developed a medical marijuana vending machine to help dispensary owners and states keep track of customers. The patient's information is entered electronically, and their fingerprint is used to prevent fraud. Points are also added onto a prepaid debit card for the ATM users.
The maker, Kind Clinics, hopes to debut this machine by spring 2011, offering more than 20 different strains of the drug.
State approval is still pending.
