Rihanna says she may become pregnant as early as a year from now but has no concrete plans to start a family.
The 22-year-old chart-topping R&B and pop singer has been dating Matt Kemp of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team since January.
"I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids," Rihanna told hip hop star Kanye West in an interview he carried out for Interview magazine in its December print issue.
"Whenever the time is right, I'll just know. I don't really plan on the age. It could be a year from now. It could be 10 years from now. Whenever is right," she said, adding: "If I had a girl, she'd probably be really rebellious. She would be like a bundle of karma."
Meanwhile, Rihanna's new song "Only Girl (In the World)," the debut single from her new album, "Loud", has topped the Billboard 100 Chart two weeks after her song with Drake, "What's My Name?", also reached the No. 1 spot. She recently broke a Billboard chart record, garnering the most No. 1 singles on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart in its 18 years when "Only Girl (In the World)" rose to the top position.
Rihanna performed her new song as well as "What's My Name?" at the 2010 American Music Awards on Sunday and won the award for favorite Soul/R&B female artist. (Check out photos of Rihanna performing at the event.)
