OTRC: Mr. Moviefone reviews 'Tangled,' 'Burlesque,' 'Love and Other Drugs' and 'Faster'

Alright, so it's Thanksgiving weekend, crazy aunt Mable is over-hugging everybody and onto her 12th version of the "you'll never guess what Mittens did" story, the wine boxes are running dry, it's probably time to pack the family in the van and head to the movies.

For the whole family, Disney puts its own spin on the classic fairy tale "Repunzel" with "Tangled."

The beautiful princess, locked away by an evil crone, takes a dashing thief hostage when he tries to hide out in her tower. She strikes a deal - she'll let him go if he helps her escape - and the adventure begins.

The Reel Deal: Far from being an unruly mess, "Tangled" is a classically animated, sassy, well-groomed fairy tale that's fun for the whole family. I'm in.

Next, Christina Aguilera makes her feature debut in "Burlesque."

A young woman with a big voice and even bigger dreams heads to L.A. to become a star. It's not long before she charms and sings her way from waitress to headliner at a burlesque nightclub. Also featured are Cher, Stanley Tucci and Kristen Bell.

The Reel Deal: Somewhere between "Showgirls" and "Chicago" is "Burlesque," a zippy, campy, proudly shameless musical that if you buy a ticket, probably delivers exactly what you're looking for. I'm in.

Then, prepare to fall under the influence of "Love and Other Drugs."

Two people who thought they'd never fall in love are swept up despite their best efforts at resistance. Anne Hathaway's character suffers from Parkinson's and believes a relationship is not an option, and Jake Gyllenhaal is a handsome, manipulative prescription drug rep who only cares about climbing the corporate ladder.

The Reel Deal: In what could be the "fleshiest" movie of the year (there is a lot of nudity), if this is what love and other drugs gets you, I'll take a double dose of each. I'm in.

And it's all about revenge in the action thriller "Faster." Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a convict just out of prison and hell-bent on taking down the men responsible for killing his brother.

The Reel Deal: The irony is that "Faster" is sort of slow. The ads say, "If you're on his list, you're already dead." Well so is this movie, before it even hits theaters. Sorry Rock. I'm out.

And finally, arriving just in time to kick off the holiday season is "The Nutcracker in 3D."
