When responding officers arrived, they found Scott Hebron, the lone occupant in the vehicle, showing obvious of being under the influence of alcohol.
According to police, Hebron said he crashed the car on purpose in an attempt to take his own life.
Hebron suffered only minor injuries and was transported to Desert Hospital for treatment. He was placed on a 72-hour mental health evaluation.
