SoCal holiday weekend gas prices up from 2009

LOS ANGELES Gas prices on average have risen about 17 cents since Labor Day because of rising oil prices.

The good news is that gas prices are already falling because oil prices have dropped over the past 10 days.

According to the American Automobile Association, Los Angeles-Long Beach area drivers are currently paying $3.14 for a gallon of regular.

In Orange County it's also about $3.14 a gallon.

In the Inland Empire, a gallon will cost you about $3.13.

In Ventura, a gallon goes for $3.14.
