Westwood may see bus-only lanes on Wilshire

WESTWOOD, Calif. The /*Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority*/ will consider the proposal next month, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The proposal calls for bus-only lanes along Wilshire Boulevard between /*MacArthur Park*/ and Centinela Avenue with a gap in Beverly Hills.

However, some residents in Westwood want an exemption for Wilshire between Comstock and Selby avenues.

They say bus-only lanes would cause major backups in an area where traffic already moves smoothly.
