Kelsey Grammer, the 55-year-old star of the comedy series "Frasier", is engaged to girlfriend Kayte Walsh, 29, who is set to become his fourth wife.
His spokesperson confirmed the engagement to OnTheRedCarpet.com and said it is unclear when the actor proposed. Kelsey Grammer's wife Camille, a 42-year-old former Playboy model that he wed in 1997, who is the mother of his children Mason, 9, and Jude, 6, filed for divorce in July. It has not yet been finalized.
Walsh, a British flight attendant, suffered a miscarriage earlier this year after becoming pregnant with his fifth child. When Grammer was asked in August, shortly after his spokesperson confirmed the pregnancy, if he would marry Walsh, the actor told a Splash News journalist on camera: "I think that makes some sense. I've got some other stuff I've got to clear up first."
Kelsey Grammer was also married to dance instructor Doreen Alderman from 1982 to 1990 and they have one daughter, Spencer, who stars in the ABC Family comedy series "Greek". Grammer and former stripper Leigh-Anne Csuhany were married from 1992 to 1993 and have no children. During this time, he had a daughter, Greer, out of wedlock. She is now 18 years old.
In late October, Camille Grammer, who currently stars in the Bravo reality show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", recalled being dumped by her husband over the phone, saying she offered to go to therapy but that he refused. He has not commented.
Aside from playing the title role of a radio therapist on "Frasier", a part he originated on the 1980s series "Cheers", Kelsey Grammer also starred on the show "Hank" in 2009, played Beast in the movie "X-Men: The Last Stand" and voices the psychopath Sideshow Bob on the animated sitcom "The Simpsons". He is also the voice of the Tin Man in the new animated "Wizard of Oz" reboot, "Dorothy of Oz", which stars "Glee" actress Lea Michele as Dorothy and is set for release in 2012.
