RIVERSIDE, Calif. --A small dog struck by a train in Riverside on Thursday is recovering, and now she may need a new home. The 2-year-old terrier was hit near Chicago and Marlborough avenues. Railroad workers spotted the limping dog on the tracks early in the morning.
The dog had bruises and cuts and had to be stitched up by a vet.
Animal services said the dog will be OK, but she has no collar or micro-chip for identification.
