Jillian Michaels plans to leave "The Biggest Loser", the weight-loss reality show that features her as a tough fitness trainer, saying she wants to become a mother and focus on her charity work.

Michaels, 36, has appeared on the NBC series in most episodes since it began in 2004. She launched her own program on the network, "Losing It With Jillian", in June. The 11th season of "The Biggest Loser" is set to premiere in January 2011.

"Season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last," Michaels said on her Twitter page. "Have to finish out my contract. I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work. Shooting 'Losing It' also had big impact on me. Living with kids, I saw firsthand what I was missing."

Michaels had told Women's Health magazine earlier this year, when asked about pregnancy, that she was going to adopt a child, adding: "I can't handle doing that to my body". She said on her Twitter page that she began wanting children two years ago.

Two new trainers set to appear on season 11 of "The Biggest Loser" will be announced by NBC next week, The Hollywood Reporter said. The network said in a statement that the finale of the current 10th season is set to air on Tuesday and will reveal four of the 22 new contestants.
