Elin Nordegren is reportedly involved romantically with a student from South Africa, months after she and golf champion Tiger Woods finalized their divorce.
Nordegren, a 30-year-old Swedish former model, has not commented on the report by the UK newspaper The Sun, which said she met her new man, said to be 35 years old, at a college she attends in Florida. She is studying psychology at Rollins College in Winter Park.
It did not say when the two allegedly began seeing each other.
Woods proposed to Nordegren in South Africa in 2003 and the two married a year later. She filed for divorce over the summer following a cheating scandal that tarnished his reputation for months. The divorce was finalized in August. The two are parents to daughter Sam, 3, and son Charlie, 1.
Woods earlier this year apologized publicly about his infidelity and has undergone therapy. One alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel, stars in the reality show 'Celebrity Rehab", which depicts her battle with relationship woes.
Despite the cheating scandal, when began around November 2009 after reports of alleged infidelity surfaced following a car accident outside of his home, Woods was named No. 1 on Sports Illustrated's list of the 50 top-earning American athletes for the seventh consecutive year and has over the past year made $90.5 million, including $70 million from endorsements.
His earnings were down more than $9 million this year and he lost several endorsement deals from companies such as Gatorade and AT&T after news broke he had cheated on Nordegren.
