Taylor Swift had a lot to celebrate on her 21st birthday on Monday, but the country superstar kept her celebration humble and spent it with a small group of friends.
The singer wrote on her Twitter page on Sunday, that two of her friend "knocked on my door- they brought a pizza with a lit 21 candle on it and bday hats."
Swift, who has been linked to actor Jake Gyllenhaal since November, gave an interview with Nashville DJ Gerry House on WSIX radio station on Monday. According to People, Swift told the House, "Things feel really good on this birthday, really great in fact."
The singer was recently named "Entertainer of the Year" for 2010 by Entertainment Weekly magazine, which praised the 20-year-old pop and country singer for her four Grammy wins, major concerts and recent release of her best-selling third studio album, "Speak Now".
"I don't feel older all of a sudden. It's a state of mind thing, how you see the world, being excitable, staying excitable and impressionable and doing your best not to become jaded or bitter," Swift told House during her interview about getting older. "I think keeping your mind and your heart open keeps you young."
