The star-studded cast of "New Year's Eve" just got a little bigger. Sarah Jessica Parker has signed on for the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jessica Biel, Lea Michele, Sofia Vergara, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer have all signed on for the film.
In the movie, Parker will play the dependent mother of "Little Miss Sunshine" star Abigail Breslin.
Halle Berry and Zac Efron are also in talks to star in the film, according to the industry paper. Berry is up to play a caterer who runs into her ex, while Efron will star opposite Pfeiffer as a bike messenger.
The film will be directed by Garry Marshall, who also directed the 2010 film "Valentine's Day". "New Year's Eve" will have a similar plot as Marshall's last film, where characters' storylines intertwine throughout the film over the course of New Year's Eve.
