Denise Richards, ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, recently confirmed she is dating Nikki Sixx, bassist of the rock band Motley Crue.
It was reported earlier this week that the two were involved romantically. Sixx, 52, was previously linked to Kat Von D, a tattoo artist and star of TLC reality show "LA Ink". He has been married twice, to two Playboy models, with whom he has four children.
"What's considered dating?" Richards, 39, said on Bravo TV's "Watch What Happens Live" show on Thursday. "Like, is he my boyfriend? He's been my neighbor for years. I may have borrowed some sugar from him. We've gone on a couple of dates. That's what's hard - when it's out there, you want, if anything's going to develop, to develop on its own. We're taking it very slowly. He's a very lovely person."
Richards is known for movies such as "Starship Troopers" and stars in the new Spike TV series "Blue Mountain State". She and Sheen played an on-again, off-again couple in the 2001 romantic comedy film "Good Advice" and were married between 2002 and 2006. They have two daughters, Sam, 6 and Lola, 5. Richards also dated Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora between 2006 and 2007.
Sheen, star of "Two and a Half Men", has made headlines in recent months due to an October outburst at New York's Plaza hotel, made while he was under the influence of an unknown substance, and a December 2009 confrontation with his estranged wife Brooke Mueller.
