The lights went out at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. That stretch of business went without power for most of the day Monday.
Business owners said they lost money, since many shoppers assumed the dark stores were closed.
The Los Angeles /*Department of Water and Power*/ said it wasn't experiencing any outages on Tuesday.
