'Bad elf bandit' robs Thousand Oaks bank

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. The man robbed a Bank of the West on Monday, giving the teller a note demanding cash.

The FBI dubbed the man the "bad elf bandit."

The man was described as black, clean-shaven, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 inches tall, and weighs about 165 pounds. He was last seen walking northbound on Moorpark Road from the bank.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
