Mammoth Mountain sees record-breaking snow

Mammoth Mountain was buried in a record-breaking amount of snow Wednesday. According to SkiInfo.com, it now has the deepest base of snow in the world.

As many as 18 inches of snow fell in the last 24 hours and as many as 16 feet of snow has fallen on the mountain since Friday.

This is the most amount of snow the mountain has gotten since 1969.
