After a six-hour standoff, officers entered the home but did not find the suspect inside. Police eventually found him in another home a block away about an hour later.
The suspect was identified as 34-year-old Jose Castro, a gang member who is on parole for arson. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries he suffered in a fight with another man on Sunday night.
