Surveillance cameras captured the man escaping the Bellagio after grabbing $1.5 million worth of chips from a craps table.
Now the Bellagio has issued a public notice that all standard $25,000 chips must be redeemed by April 22. After that they'll be worth nothing.
They're hoping the tactic will expose the thief.
Discontinuing chips is not an uncommon practice for Las Vegas casinos.
