Spider-Man stunt actor to leave hospital

NEW YORK Christopher Tierney suffered a skull fracture and cracked vertebrae while performing in "Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark."

He underwent back surgery and is set to be released from a rehabilitation facility on Wednesday. He will continue treatment in New York.

His fall prompted the cancellation of two preview performances of the show, which has been plagued by accidents. It is scheduled to officially open next month.
