Instructor Maxx Mosses says his course focuses on the legal expression of the urban art form. He also says the class draws everyone from young kids to urban professionals.
"Those who are artists, for those who are interested in art, for those who have no clue and I think our goal is just to kind of tap into that vein of creativity and just open you up," said Mosses.
Mosses says graffiti artists often get a bad rap and are usually associated with gangs but most are typically not affiliated.
