OTRC: Betty White tells fans, 'You've had an overdose of me'

December 2010 - Betty White dishes on what's next for her 'Hot in Cleveland' character and which guest stars are lined up.

During the semiannual Television Critics Association conference, Betty White talked about her big comeback year and told reporters that she's going to slow down on work.

Last year the actress hosted "Saturday Night Live," did guest stints on "The Middle" and "Community," on top of her "Hot in Cleveland" duties. She was also named "AP Entertainer of the Year" by the Associated Press in 2010.

"It's hard for me to say no to a job because you spend your career thinking if you say no to a job they'll never offer you another one," White told the press according to tells The Hollywood Reporter. "My mother taught me to say no as a girl. But I'm trying to cut down, I really am."

"What is this Betty White business," she added. "This is so silly. You've had an overdose of me. I think I'm going to go away for a while."

It was the same sentiment that her former "Mary Tyler Moore" costar Cloris Leachman joked about during the last TCA conference. "I'm so sick of Betty White," tells The Los Angeles Times quoted Leachman, 84, as saying, to laughs and a few gasps. "Never liked her."

White, who turns 89 on January 17, is gearing up for a new season for "Hot in Cleveland" where she will reunite with another one of her "Mary Tyler Moore" costars, Mary Tyler Moore.

The two haven't worked on screen together in 33 years but White, who called Moore a "dynamite lady," said she had "fun" shooting the episode.

"Oh it was such fun. It was like old home week because we've never really been apart," White told OnTheRedCarpet.com at 18th Annual BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards on November 6 about working with Moore again. The actress stops by "Hot In Cleveland" for a guest role on the show's second season premiere on January 19.

According to a press release, Moore's character will "involve White's character Elka, who in the season one cliffhanger, was arrested."

The second season will also feature Susan Lucci and other characters from "All My Children." Lucci will play the archenemy of Wendie Malick's character.
