Oldest known winery discovered in Armenia

WASHINGTON An international team of researchers tied to the University of California, Los Angeles, has unearthed what is believed to be the earliest known winery.

It was uncovered in the mountains of Armenia.

The team discovered a vat to press grapes, fermentation jars and even a cup and drinking bowl.

They're about 6,000 years old.

Researchers say older evidence of wine drinking has been found, but this is the earliest example of wine production.
