Could Taylor Lautner's on-screen love life heat up with a "Harry Potter" star? Well, it could be a possibility since Emma Watson is reportedly one of the frontrunners in the competition to star opposite the "Twilight Saga" heartthrob in the upcoming film "Incarceron."
Watson's competition? "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively and "Winter's Bone" lead actress Jennifer Lawrence, according to Deadline.com.
Lautner, 19, will play Finn, a young prisoner who is destined to escape the brutal, prison society he has spent his entire lifetime in. The film is based off a young adult sci-fi novel by Catherine Fisher.
In the book, Finn communicates via a crystal key with the warden's daughter, Claudia. She is trapped in her own realm, which looks like the 17th Century, and is unable to see his surroundings.
Watson, 20, Lively, 23, and Lawrence, 20, are up for the role of Claudia.
Lautner recently filmed the action-thriller "Abduction" with Sigourney Weaver of "Alien" and "Avatar" fame and is reprising his role in both parts of "Breaking Dawn", the final "Twilight" movies, alongside main actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.Breaking Dawn's first part is set to be released on November 18, 2011 and the second part is due to hit theaters on Nov. 16, 2012.
