2 men busted w/100 lbs cocaine in Valencia

VALENCIA, Calif. Federal agents seized more than 100 pounds of cocaine and nearly $2.5 million in cash on Wednesday night.

They later arrested two Toronto men, ages 19 and 32.

Investigators believe the men were planning to hide the drugs inside produce boxes in order to smuggle them into Canada.

"Narcotics like cocaine are worth a lot more in Canada than they are in the United States so the organizations will purchase cocaine here in the United States and move it north usually in large quantities in semi-trucks," said Louis Rodi with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Federal agents said they had one of the men, a suspected drug dealer, under surveillance ever since he entered the U.S.
