Annette Bening won the Golden Globe Award for "Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy Or Musical" on Sunday for her role in "The Kids are All Right," marking the actress' second win and sixth nomination.
Bening beat her co-star Julianne Moore, Anne Hathaway of "Love & Other Drugs," Angelina Jolie of "The Tourist" and Emma Stone of "Easy A."
"The Kids Are All Right" stars Bening and Julianne Moore as a lesbian couple. In the film, their children find their biological father and the womens' sperm donor, played by Mark Ruffalo, and bring him into the family's lives.
Bening has won a Golden Globe for her role in the 2004 movie "Being Julia" and has been nominated for Oscars for that movie as well as the films "American Beauty" and "The Grifters."
