Deer crashes into Northern Calif. home

CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. Homeowner John Starkweather says he was startled when the buck came in, but he still managed to take a picture. He says it took a lot of effort to get the unwanted visitor to leave.

"I grabbed a couple of pillows and I threw one at the deer, and then when it got to about the middle of the dinette I threw another pillow which made the deer turn down the hallway and ran out as the front door was open," said Starkweather.

No one was injured, but the deer did cause quite a bit of damage.
