See Tyrannosaurus Rex up close this summer

LOS ANGELES A new exhibit opening this summer at the Natural History Museum gives us a look at what Tyrannosaurus Rex was like growing up.

The display features three preserved fossils of the T-Rex. There's a 2-year-old toddler T-Rex who weighed about 100 pounds, the juvenile estimated at 12 to 14-years-old, and the young adult who tipped the scale at about 8,000 pounds.

When the exhibit opens in July, visitors will be able to get within a few feet of the giants.
