Lea Michele, who plays Rachel on "Glee" will be singing "America the Beautiful" during the Super Bowl pre-game, according to E! Online.
"Glee" is starting to take over the Super Bowl, with the next season of the hit musical theater show premiering after the game, with a special Michael Jackson "Thriller" episode.
The 24-year-old actress will become one of only eight artists to have performed "America the Beautiful" at the Super Bowl, including Faith Hill, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Marc Anthony, Mary J. Blige, Vicki Carr and Ray Charles.
It was confirmed earlier in the week that Christina Aguilera will be singing the National Anthem at the football game and The Black Eyed Peas will perform during the halftime show.
Michele met Kim Kardashian at a recent Golden Globes after-party and revealed that she was also a fan of the show, or a "Gleek." Kardashian gushed on Twitter about how great her ner friend is.
"I think I'm in love with @MsLeaMichele," Kim wrote on Twitter. "So beautiful and so talented!"
Super Bowl XLV will air on February 6 on Fox.
