The girl was walking along the 3100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at 8:20 a.m. when a man tried to pull her into a car where another man was waiting.
The two struggled, but the girl managed to break free and run to a nearby school. She was not injured.
The first man was described as a white male in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a slim build. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, light blue jeans and tennis shoes.
