Singer Jimmy Buffett took a rough fall off stage during a concert on Tuesday night in Australia according to singer's official website," Margaritaville.com. Buffet was then rushed to the hospital but representatives confirmed on the site that the singer is doing fine.
"As you probably already know, Jimmy had an accident while performing in Sydney last night and was taken to the hospital," a statement on the website read. "The doctors say he is doing well and will be released tomorrow. More info as we get it, and thank you for all of your well-wishes!"
According to Australia's Daily Telegraph, audiences at the Sydney concert saw the 64-year-old singer fall face first off stage and hit his head. His manager Michael Chugg rushed to his side and urged fans to leave immediately before an ambulance arrived.
Buffet, who is known for hits like "Mararitaville," also owns restaurant chains named after the song. In addition, he has also written three New York Times best-sellers.
