Officials at Port Lympne Wild Animal Park posted the video of Ambam on YouTube. The animal was caught on camera by a researcher.
The gorilla keeper says it's not unheard of for gorillas to walk upright like humans, but it's just not as common as walking on all fours.
He said Ambam's father used to do the same thing if his hands were full of food.
The marketing team at the park decided to put the video online, and Ambam quickly picked up thousands of fans.
