That call likely saved Aaron Hayes' life. He accidentally embedded a chisel deep in his arm, severing a main artery.
His son, A.J., saw the blood gushing and knew what he had to do.
"I couldn't be more proud," Hayes said.
Paramedics said Hayes easily could have bled to death. They point to this as another example of the importance of teaching kids how to use 911.
