Evans wants to build five ridge-top homes on a property above /*Malibu*/, but the California Coastal Commission said the project would violate state law.
The commission said the development would ruin a wild area and scar hillsides visible from /*Pacific Coast Highway*/.
Evans said construction of the five multi-million dollar estates will be a green building project. The plans claim the mansions will blend into the natural surroundings.
The Coastal Commission will consider the matter at a meeting on Feb. 10.
