The ad promotes "Thank God for Sex" classes at a local church.
The pastor claims the course and fliers were created to draw attention to social problems created by sex and pornography and to make the topics less taboo.
The ad also says it's "National Porn Sunday."
Some residents believe the pastor went too far.
"The issue of pornography is that it's destroying lives and it's destroying marriages and it's destroying families and we want people to know there's hope for this," said Mike DeRosier, also a pastor in the area.
The pastor from the ad says he knew he wasn't going to get approval from everyone and he's OK with that.
