Lauren Conrad has denied reports that she is engaged to her boyfriend, former "My Boys" star Kyle Howard, who the reality star has been dating since 2008.
"I will tell you exactly what I told the Post," her representative told Us Weekly. "This is totally false."
Conrad, 24, managed to keep her relationship with the 32-year-old actor a secret from MTV's cameras while filming "The Hills," but it was one of the reasons she left the hit show in 2009. Conrad announced in September that she is working with MTV on a new reality series which will reportedly not involve her boyfriend Howard.
"It's going to be a little different from what I've done in the past," Conrad told OnTheRedCarpet.com regarding her new show. "It's going to be shot more documentary-style, so it'll be a bit more raw, which I really like because that's kind of where reality started and I love that. It'll be focused more on my career."
Meanwhile, Conrad is hoping to show her new clothing line at New York Fashion Week. The young designer debuted her line, LC by Lauren Conrad in 2009.
"This upcoming New York fashion week I'm hoping to show," Conrad told Young Hollywood Studios. "I've done LA before and never New York, so that's exciting."
On top of her reality show and fashion label, Conrad is a New York Times best-selling author and has published four books including, "L.A. Candy," "Sweet Little Lies," "Sugar and Spice" and "Lauren Conrad: Style."
Conrad told OnTheRedCarpet.com in October that she wants to develop her L.A. Candy novels into a film or a television series.
