Comedian Adam Sandler is set to receive a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame on Tuesday, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce says.
Sandler, 44, nabs the 2,431st star which will be located 6262 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the W Hollywood Hotel.
The funny man, who was born in Brooklyn, New York, but raised in New Hampshire, is gearing up for the release of his new romantic comedy "Just Go With It," co-starring Jennifer Anniston and Brooklyn Dekker. The film hits theaters on February 11.
His "Waterboy" co-star Henry Winkler will be hand to speak at the ceremony on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. PT
Sandler is one of the most successful comedians in Hollywood known for hits like "Billy Madison," "The Wedding Singer," "50 First Dates," "Funny People" and "Grown Ups." He also starred on five seasons of "Saturday Night Live" during the 1990s and had a recurring role as Theo's friend Smitty on "The Cosby Show". He also penned the hit "Hanukkah Songs" that fmaous name Jewish actors.
Sandler's honor comes a week after Donald Sutherland received the 2,430th star on the Walk of Fame next to his son's star, Kiefer Sutherland of "24" fame.
