50 lbs. pot nabbed in tow-truck arm at border

SAN YSIDRO, Calif.

CBP agents chose a Mexican citizen driving a tow truck for an intensive examination at about 6 a.m. Saturday at the /*San Ysidro*/ border crossing.

Using a detector dog and an imaging system, agents located packages of marijuana inside the rear hydraulic arm of the tow truck.

The driver, a resident of Ensenada, Mexico, was arrested and transported to San Diego County Jail.

CBP agents seized the truck and the drugs.
