AAP updates vaccine recommendations for kids

LOS ANGELES

It's a good reminder for parents to make sure their kid's /*vaccines*/ are up to date.

Children 6 months to 8-years-old should get two doses of the flu vaccine, even if they got the /*H1N1*/ shot last year. Children 7 to 10-years-old who've not been vaccinated against whooping cough should get that vaccine.

The /*HPV*/ vaccine is recommended for girls 11-years-old and older, but now it's being recommended for boys aged 9 to 18-years-old as well.
