Dianna Agron, who stars as the formerly pregnant cheerleader in Fox's "Glee" has taken to her personal blog this week to deny rumors that she's engaged to her "I Am Number Four" co-star and boyfriend, British actor Alex Pettyfer.
"I have been getting a lot of questions about things that I don't feel the need to explain or talk about," Agron wrote in her Tumblr blog. "I don't mean it as an insult, I've just never shared private details of my personal life to promote my career or a project that I am working on. To me, it feels like cheating. What is the payoff worth when you haven't taken the fair steps to get there?"
The 24-year-old actress was spotted holding hands with Pettyfer, 20, in August and have been connected ever since. The actress continued in her blog, hoping that fans would pay more attention to her work than who she is "swapping spit with."
"I am putting my faith in all of those people who know better. Perhaps some of you would rather hear about projects I am working on and so proud to be a part of, not whether or not I'm swapping spit with some guy?"
The couple's upcoming movie, "I Am Number Four" is about a group of human-looking beings that hide on Earth from an evil species that destroyed their planet and seeks to hunt them down. Agron plays a Midwestern girl who falls in love with one of the persecuted aliens (Pettyfer), who is disguised as a high school student.
