Former "Not Ready For Primetime Player" Dana Carvey returned to the "Saturday Night Live" stage on Saturday, and he brought back two of his classic characters, Garth from "Wanye's World" (complete with a Mike Meyers cameo) and Church Lady from "Church Chat."
Even though Linkin Park was last night's musical guest, teen sensation Justin Beiber dropped by for some fun.
The "Church Chat" skit started off with appearances by some of pop culture's current characters that need a tongue lashing from Carvey dressed in drag. After she was done with Nasim Pedrad, Vanessa Bayer and Abby Elliott as the Kardashian sisters, Bobby Moynihan got his due as "Snooki" from "Jersey Shore." Then the Church Lady felt a "tingle" in her "naughty parts" when Justin Bieber took some time to talk.
Fighting off the urges, Carvey as the Church Lady, then uttered the line, "I want a taste of that sweet Bieber!"Bieber, who showed off a good sense of humor in that skit and the spoof of "The Roommate" with Andy Samberg, seems like he has been everywhere lately.
The singer also appeared on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" this week, where he pretended he had switched bodies with host Jon Stewart. On Friday night, Bieber took over David Letterman's Top 10 on the late night talk show. His movie "Never Say Never" hits theaters on February 11.
Last night's appearance wasn't Bieber first visit to the long-running sketch show. It was the singer's second appearance on the show after an April 2010 episode where he performed two songs and appeared in two sketches with guest host Tina Fey.
