Police say the man approached the girl, who was walking in the 3100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, and tried to engage her in a conversation on Jan. 24 at 8:20 a.m. When she ignored him, he grabbed her and tried to pull her into a nearby car.
The girl was able to get away and run to a nearby school where she told school officials.
