Flames rip through Pacific Palisades home

LOS ANGELES

/*Los Angeles*/ City firefighters responded to the blaze on N. Kingman Avenue at 6:43 a.m. Some nearby brush also caught on fire, according to authorities.

Officials said all occupants were out of the single-family home at the time, and no injuries were reported.

Authorities say the flames apparently broke out in the crawl space underneath the residence and spread to the roof, where some leaves had accumulated.

Firefighters extinguished the flames in just under an hour and 20 minutes.

The extent of the damage is unknown at this tie. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
