Tonya Harding, the Olympic figure skater best known for taking part in a scandalous attack on Nancy Kerrigan in 1994, is expecting a baby boy according to ABC News.
Harding, 40, is reportedly "super excited" about her first child with husband Joseph Price, 42, a Portland, Oregon repairman. Price and Harding married on June 23, 2010.
Harding's skating scandal occurred at the 1994 Olympics when then husband Jeff Gillooly, along with two other men, attacked Kerrigan after a practice skate. One of the men struck her just above the knee with a police baton. Kerrigan's leg was only bruised, not broken, but the injury forced her to withdraw from the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, where Harding went on to win first place.
Though Harding denied having involvement in the attack, she did admit knowledge of it and pled guilty to conspiring to hinder prosecution of the attackers. She was convicted and sentenced to three years of probation. As part of her plea bargain she had to resign from the United States Figure Skating Association.
Since leaving the skating world, Harding had a brief career in boxing and even fought on the short-lived show "Celebrity Boxing," where she won a match against Paula Jones. She currently appears as a regular commentator for TruTV's "The Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest..."
