After serving seven years as California's governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger says he's ready to return to the big screen.
"Exciting news. My friends at CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously," Schwarzenegger wrote on his official Twitter page Thursday, referring to the Hollywood talent agency . Creative Artists Agency. "Gave them the green light today."
Schwarzenegger briefly revived his film career with a cameo role in the 2010 summer blockbuster "The Expendables" alongside other action movie legends like Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Bruce Willis.Before that he appeared in the 2003 film "The Rundown," 2005's "The Kid & I" and was in the remake of "Around the World in 80 Days," with Jackie Chan in 2004. Schwarzenegger is best known for his work in the "Terminator" franchise as well as films like "True Lies," "Total Recall," and "Kindergarten Cop."
